$affI hope I'm not the only one to notice this, but I'll bring it to your
attention and see what you think. I was watching the news on Wednesday
15th of May and there was coverage of a Labour Party conference with
Tony Blair insisting that there was no dissention in the Labour party.
$fafIt occurred to me that Blair's smile - made famous on Spitting Image -
was a little too wide, and seemed very strained, forced even. I thought
it was a momentary mistake on my part, being only half-interested in
what the Labour party has to say anyway, but several seconds later the
smile was still there, unchanged, it looked like he was trying to hold
in a giant fart, and I thought that was extremely odd.
$affSo I looked at his eyes, and what I saw there grabbed my attention 100%,
because those eyes were the wild, staring eyes of a complete looney that
have been cunningly caged in the hope that nobody finds out. Those eyes
and that smile certainly did not belong on the face of someone outside
of Rampton, I can tell you.
$fafNext time you see a Labour Party conference, watch Tony Blair's face
closely when he ISN'T speaking, and compare it to John Major who - in my
opinion - always seems relaxed, even when slating the opposition, and
yet seems fully awake and alert as well.
$affI shan't be voting Labour while Blair is in control, the fact that I
won't be voting Labour anyway - or anyone else for that matter - is
besides the point, I'm not voting an obvious looney into power.
